Runway End Identifier Lights @ NRRA

Description: The runway end identifier lights (REIL’s) consist of two strobe lights located at the approach end of each runway. The strobe lights allow the quick identification of the runway during periods of low visibility.

Purpose: The strobe lights allow the quick identification of the runway during periods of low visibility.

Location: The REIL’s are located at the approach end of runway 14 and the approach end of 32. The REIL’s are powered by a constant current regulator in the airport maintenance building located next to the automobile parking lot.

Cost: The replacement cost of the REIL system is approximately $20,000
