NRMA FEATURED BY MEDIA
The February 2nd issue of the nationally distributed GA Flyer newspaper, has a short article about the improvements and growth occurring at NRMA over the past year. Check out the news section of nrairport.com for a reprint of the article. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association e-mail newsletter, e-Pilot, also mentioned NRMA last week. AOPA recommended flying to NRMA if individuals were interested in seeing the Hot Air Affair balloon rally scheduled for last weekend in Hudson. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and much of the rally was cancelled. Articles on NRMA also appeared in several western Wisconsin newspapers over the past two weeks.

SPRING FLY-IN
An organizational meeting is planned in preparation for the April 22nd fly-in at NRMA. The meeting will be held in hangar 6-1 at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 8th. Hosting a fly-in is a tremendous undertaking. We could definitely use your help. If you are interested in helping during the event, please try to attend the meeting on the 8th. If you can't make it to the meeting, send an e-mail to mike@nrairport.com and we'll find a job for you.

ROW 14 FILLING UP
The north hangar area continues to grow at NRMA. Row 14, which has 75% of the lots already leased, has two hangars under construction this week. The row has a mix of 54' wide x 60' deep hangars and 60' x 60' hangars. Several lots are still available for lease in the north hangar area in rows 11 through 13. If you are thinking of building a hangar this summer, the NRMA hangar construction page has several links to area hangar construction companies as well as a diagram of available lots.

AIRPORT ORDINANCES
The rules and regulations pertaining to NRMA, including the latest ordinance regarding zoning, will soon be available on-line in Adobe PDF format. The information should be posted to nrairrport.com by next weekend.

WINTER INTERN
New Richmond resident and St. Thomas College student Zac Simma, completed a forty-hour internship at NRMA last month. Zac researched several topics on behalf of NRMA, including land annexation procedures, zoning rules, and the budget process. Zac is an accounting major in his freshman year. He also earned his Private Pilot license last fall.
