FUEL APRON
The fuel apron will be crack filled and seal coated early Wednesday morning, weather permitting. The "old part" of the apron will be closed for the better part of the morning - but the new part of the apron will be available for aircraft fueling.

MEN AND EQUIPMENT
Contractors for Northern States Power will be working around the airport for the next couple of days. The contractors will be replacing sod that was dug-up during the gas main installation last fall. Hangar owners interested in connecting to the natural gas lines should contact NSP at 800-895-4999.

EAA CHAPTER
There was a pretty good response to the possibility of an EAA chapter for the area. Please send an e-mail if you are interested in forming a chapter. We could have a chapter serving western Wisconsin up and running by fall.

POKER RUN SCREW UP
Last week I reported on the planning of a poker run on Sunday, May 30th. About a dozen or so people pointed out that the 30th happens to fall on Memorial Day weekend. Therefore, the poker run will be rescheduled for June 5th with one of the stops being at the Amery, Wisconsin fly-in.

ONE LAST THING
The tie-down ropes on the apron were finally replaced last week. The ropes suffered an unfortunate encounter with the airport snowblower last winter.
